Welcome to The Gifted Gab, a production of the Woodbridge Township Gifted Child PTO. On the sidebar there are a list of handy links including a Calendar of Events and a list of the teachers and staff in the program. Throughout the year we hope that these pages will be continually updated with information about the program by both teachers and parents.

Enrichment Classes Starting

This week the lucky students at schools 1, 20, 24, 25 and 26 got to have their first enrichment class of the year. Next week, when we finally have a full week of school, the rest of the elementary students will get their turn. Middle School classes will be starting as well.

The fourth and fifth graders will be studying weather. Perhaps they will find out why it hasn't been raining? Or they'll learn why hurricanes happen this time of year? Perhaps we'll end up with a bunch of buddying weather forecasters! Stay tuned!

Pass the Budget - Save G&T Arts

Despite all the cuts, it's important to pass the school budget on April 20th. We have word that if the budget is passed there is a very good chance that G&T Arts will be reinstated as a program. It is the first thing that would be reinstated, should the money become available.

Please pass the word and Pass The Budget!

Save The Arts

It looks like the G&T Arts program could be a victim of budget cuts this year. This would include Theater Arts, Visual Arts and Music.

There will be a education board meeting at AMS on February 1st at 6:30 where the budget will bed discussed. Please go and make your voices heard.
